AUTOMATIC COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

Clients
We collect information such as names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, grade levels, and referrals. We collect this information mainly for the purpose of facilitating the job duties of our tutors and administrative staff. Tutors use this information to contact their assigned families and travel to their families’ preferred tutoring locations. Administrative staff uses customer information for billing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to individuals outside of StepByStep Tutoring Enrichment Program or tutors who are not assigned to our customers. All online transactions are encrypted. StepByStep Tutoring Enrichment Program may also send out surveys to current or previous customers to follow up on services and exercise quality assurance. Questions are related to previous or current StepByStep Tutoring Enrichment Program’s services. This personal information is only disclosed to Company administrators.
Independent Contractor Tutors

Information provided by the tutor will not be disclosed to any entity outside of StepByStep Tutoring Enrichment Program. Information apart from customer names will not be disclosed to other tutors. A tutor’s name and contact information (e-mail and telephone number) will be disclosed to the tutor’s assigned families. Other personal information will be kept private unless authorized by the tutor.
Applicants

Information provided by an applicant seeking to enter an independent contractor relationship with StepByStep Tutoring Enrichment Program will be used to verify credentials and provide a basis upon which Company administrators will make a decision on hiring the individual. If the applicant is not hired, information is either locked, archived, or destroyed.
USE OF COLLECTED INFORMATION
Any of the information we collect from you may be used to personalize your experience; improve our Website; improve customer service and respond to queries and emails of our customers; process transactions; run and operate our Website and Services. Information collected automatically may be used only to identify potential cases of abuse and establish statistical information regarding Website usage. This statistical information is not otherwise aggregated in such a way that would identify any particular user of the system.
BILLING AND PAYMENTS
In case of services requiring payment, we request credit card or other payment account information, which will be used solely for processing payments. Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. Where necessary for processing future payments and subject to your prior consent, your financial information will be stored in encrypted form on secure servers of our reputed payment gateway service provider who is beholden to treating your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. All direct payment gateways adhere to the latest security standards as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We contract with independent contractor tutors to provide certain tutoring products and services. These service providers are not authorized to use or disclose the information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements. We may share Personal Information for these purposes only with third-parties whose privacy policies are consistent with ours or who agree to abide by our policies with respect to Personal Information. Our service providers are given the information they need to perform their designated functions, and we do not authorize them to use or disclose Personal Information for their own marketing or other purposes.
PRIVACY OF CHILDREN
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act protects the online privacy of children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or maintain Personally-Identifying Information from anyone under the age of 13 through the Website, unless or except as permitted by law.
